NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH - LATEST NEWS

Neighbourhood Watch has reported the following :-

Thefts from vehicles

There were four thefts from vehicles overnight Saturday/Sunday, 2nd/3rd August in the Hawkinge area.

From a Vauxhall Movano parked in Stansfield Avenue a mobile phone was stolen. The side window was smashed to gain entry.

In Pritchard Drive a Mercedes van had the satellite navigation system stolen, again a side window was smashed.

Another sat nav was stolen from a Citreon that was parked in Mayfly Drive. Again the side window was smashed.

Finally, a Volkswagen van parked in Paxton Avenue had a wallet stolen from within, and once again it was the same method of entry.

Damage to vehicle

A Renault Megane that was parked in Handley Page Road (Page Road) was damaged but entry was not made into this vehicle.
