A 22-year-old woman from Dover and her 27-year-old boyfriend have been found guilty of the murder of David Redman.

Phillipa Hart and Christopher Graham, of Noah's Ark Road,  Dover, had been drinking with Mr Redman  in a pub in the town on March 10th 2007, when they went to the seafront.

CCTV footage was found showing Mr Redman walking to the seafront in Dover with Hart and Graham on the night he went missing, with later images showing what police believe was part of the attack.

In another section of the footage, Hart and Graham were seen walking away - but Mr Redman was nowhere in sight, having been violently assaulted by the pair, police believe.

Prosecutors told the jury that Hart and Graham had lured Mr Redman to the seafront and had argued with him, which then developed into a fight following which his body was dumped in the sea.

The clothes the two defendants were believed to have been wearing on the night of the killing were shown to the jury with large traces of Mr Redman's blood on them.

At Maidstone Crow Court Judge Andrew Patience QC said Graham was "a cold-hearted psychopath acting without conscience" and called Hart wicked.

Mr Redman's body has never been found.

Hart will serve a minimum of 15 years and Graham will serve a minimum of 20 years.
