Community and voluntary groups in Dover can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects which benefit the community, from funding given to the Dover District Neighbourhood Forums.

Last year saw successful projects being given new equipment, small building works, notice boards and landscaping.

Kent County Council is administering this Small Community Capital Projects fund and application packs are now available.

The closing date for applications is 29 August 2008.
