Detectives in Folkestone are trying to trace a man who came to the rescue of a German girl who was being assaulted by two local teenage girls.

The 15-year-old German youngster was with friends walking along The Leas just after 9.00pm on Friday 25 July when two local girls started abusing them.

The German students ran to The Leas Club where a man intervened and helped protect them from the offenders.

Police would like to hear from the man who intervened. If it was you, please contact PC Tania Pickering on 01303 850055 quoting ref: FY/11826/08.
