French ferry company to start new Channel service

French ferry newcomer LD Lines has announced plans to add a new English Channel service between Boulogne sur Mer and Dover

The company already operates between Le Havre and Portsmouth, and Dieppe and Newhaven.

The new service is due to start next year and will use a single vessel to offer four round trips daily between the two ports.
