Was a crime commited, or not?

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Re: Crime figures don't tell the full story

I always feel that it is important to keep a good sceptical eye on figures handed out by administrations.

For example, they will almost never claim that their policy is failing, now will they?

I also pay attention to other news items that circulate; for example, the person who had their garage robbed in Hawkinge, but the Police would not attend because it was not connected to the house.

Now, was a crime committed or not?

Standing by the point made,

Lazarus
