Banning football in Hawkinge?

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

I believe the Parish Council has banned Hawkinge Youth Football Club from training and playing.

Why is this happening, surely it should encourage sport?

Football encourages team work, fitness and keeps them off the streets.

Hawkinge Youth Football Club have finances to build changing rooms etc at no cost to the Parish council, but this is also being refused.

They seem happier to waste money on flower beds in the village.

This is a disgrace in my humble opinion.
