Prosecute the offence yourself

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Re: Village pavements are for pedestrians and not cars

J Cullen, can of course, prosecute the offence himself.

He has the evidence, he can report the matter. He has the evidence to lay before the Court

The Police will assist in the prosecution, providing the keepers details etc but he can and should prosecute the matter himself, as it can be with drivers using mobile phones whilst driving, no seat belt etc

Many offences can be prosecuted by "civilians" in the Magistrates Court.

Go on do it! It is very satisfying!
