It is believed the man climbed to the roof of a three storey house in Cheriton Road, Folkestone, shortly before 9am this morning (22 April) after officers tried to question him.

The road was closed and an ambulance stood by while police negotiated with the man.

He was persuaded to come down at 2.35pm.
