Council failing local youngsters who meet up in broken-down shed in field

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Re: Claim that parish council are blocking improvements

I agree with everything RT commented on in their recent letter.

What facilities have been put in place for all the villagers, such as public seats, tidying up the forecourts in front of the shops, getting a meeting place for all the teenagers, not just the ones who are interested in football.

On the field near me teenagers meet in an old broken-down shed as they have nowhere to go.

Why isn't the Leisuredrome used for them, it is not 'posh' like the supposed 'Community Centre' and would be ideal for them and is what "The Few" fought and lost their lives for, the future for us and our children, not just people who are interested in football.

Here here,

What we need is a village wish list .... They can then take ten years to decide if the items on the list should be implemented !
