Yesterday (2 March) Hawkinge Harry started his fund raising activities with a trip to Berck-Sur-Mer in France for the carnival and marriage of Local giants Flipp and Zabeth and 18 other Giants from Northern France and Belgium also joined in the celebrations.

Giants are big (pun intended) in Northern Europe and have their own association “Federation des Geants”.

It is hoped that we can eventually get something like this going here in the UK where the number of Giants is growing fast.

Harry has been invited to other events and has heard a whisper that he has cousins as far away as Barcelona and Quebec.
