Residents urged to get on their bikes

Local people are being asked to say what they think of the proposed cycling plans for the Dover area.

Kent Highway Services (KHS) has put together a draft cycling plan for the town, which aims to make cycling more accessible to residents and visitors to the district, encouraging them to become greener by providing links to residential areas, businesses and leisure facilities.

A questionnaire will give residents the opportunity to comment about new cycle routes, where they should be focused, where there are gaps in the network and how to keep cyclists safe.

It can be viewed at http://www.kent.gov.uk until March 28.
