The body of a man believed to be aged in his 60s was found at the foot of cliffs at St Margaret's Bay near Dover at around 8.30 pm last night (6 February).

It follows a search by Kent Police, Dover Coastguards and Dover Lifeboat after police were called at 5.20 pm by a member of the public who had found a man's jacket, keys and car.

The body was recovered by the Dover Lifeboat.

Police investigating the incident are not treating the death as suspicious.
