Police appeal over fatal collision near Dover

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision near Dover last night (Tuesday 5 February).

At 6.40 pm a Ford Mondeo was travelling from the Duke of York roundabout down Dover Road, Guston, towards Dover, when the car collided with a tree.

The driver, a 48-year-old man from Whitfield was taken to the William Harvey Hospital where he died soon after arrival.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 01622 798538.
