Dave the Dolphin cop receives top award

A PC who helped convict two men for harassing a dolphin off the coast of Folkestone has received an award.

PC Andrew Small was named WWF Wildlife Law Enforcer of the Year in recognition of his work as Rural and Environmental Crime Co-ordinator in 2005.

The award recognises the outstanding work by individual wildlife crime enforcement officers in the UK.

Michael Jukes and Daniel Buck were found guilty of intentionally or recklessly disturbing a wild animal.
