News

In respect of a story published today (3 December) - Eurotunnel workers threaten Christmas strike - The Hawkinge Gazette and Channel Coast News apologise for publishing an inaccurate headline which should have read - Eurostar workers threaten Christmas strike.

We wish to make it clear that Eurotunnel and Eurostar are two completely separate companies and that the staff of Eurotunnel are not preparing to strike.

The Hawkinge Gazette and Channel Coast News have amended the headline on the story accordingly and offer our sincere apologies to Eurotunnel for the error.
