Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a car was broken into.

The green Peugeot 306 was parked at Green Court in Green Lane, Lyminge on Thursday 18 December between 4 pm and 5.30 pm when it was broken into.

Items were stolen from the boot including Christmas shopping.

Police investigating an incident on Wednesday 17 December outside Alexander Wine in Canterbury Road, Folkestone, in which a man was subjected to racist abuse and threats by another man, are appealing for information and witnesses.

The victim was a black man aged in his early 30s and the offender is white, of slim build, 6ft 1in tall with dark brown collar length hair.
