Second Royal Gurkha Rifles soldier killed in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Defence has reported that another British soldier from 2nd Battalion the Royal Ghurkha Rifles based in Shorncliffe has died in southern Afghanistan.

Colour Sergeant Krishnabahadur Dura, 36, died in a bomb blast on Saturday (15 November) after his vehicle hit an explosive device while on patrol.

His death in Musa Qala, Helmand is the second from the Shorncliffe based battalion in just over two weeks.

Yubraj Rai, 28, was killed on 4 November  in Musa Qala.
