Biker dies after car crash

A 44-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital two weeks after being badly injured in a crash near Ashford.

The Sussex man's black Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Astra car in Military Road, Appledore.

Police have asked any witnesses to the crash, which happened on September 21, to contact officers.
