Local Remembrance Services

The annual Service of Remembrance will be held at St
Luke's Church (C of E), Canterbury Road, Hawkinge on Sunday, 9th November 2008
at 10.30am
A group of visitors from Aviron in France, twinned with Swingfield, will be
attending the service accompanied by members of Swingfield Twinning Association.
A service of Morning Prayer for Remembrance Sunday will take place at St
Martin's Church (C of E), Acrise at 8.45am.
Brief acts of remembrance will also take place at:
10.00am at the RAF Memorial, Spitfire Leisuredrome, Aerodrome Road, Hawkinge
12 noon (approx) at the lychgate of St Peter's Church, Swingfield.
