In the past weeks we have had lectures from DAVE ROLF & VIC SHARRETT “OUR WAY WITH ANIMALS”  Two local experts showing us their way with photographs from Port Lympne,  and ROBERT CANIS ARPS “THE FIELD TECHNIQUES OF NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY” A nature photographer of high regard returned to inspire us.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have a Practical Evening once a month where members can practice with the studio lighting. gain assistance from the experienced members and practice with Photoshop.  We also have separate evenings for an audio visual workshop.  In addition we meet monthly for a ‘mini outing’ to various local venues to take photographs of different aspects of photography.

Our meeting on 3rd November will be a Battle with Gateway (Dover), Rye and ourselves, which should prove to be an interesting evening.   It is always good to see other clubs work, followed by the 2nd Print Competition of the season on 10th November.

Meetings are held at the St. Georges Church, Audley Road,. Folkestone (opposite West Station), every Monday commencing at 7.45pm  New members are always welcome and anyone interested in joining, please, ring Jenny Barraclough (Press Officer) 01303 245399 or e mail:  jenny-bar@dsl.pipex.com for further information.
