Decision awaited on new Channel route to Normandy - (Photo)

Shipping company LD Lines, who are to begin sailing from Dover to Boulogne next year have now applied to run another service to Dieppe in Normandy early in 2009.

Under the Dover Harbour Board’s approval process, the application is currently being evaluated and consulted upon with port users.

A decision is likely to be reached in November.
