A big expansion of the recycling service from Dover District Council, with the collection of cardboard and plastic bottles, is ready to launch from 3 November, and leaflets, bags and calendars are now being delivered to households across the district.

It will be an expansion of existing collections to households across the district.

Household refuse collections will continue on a weekly basis and recycling collections remain fortnightly. The green waste scheme for the collection of garden waste is also being extended to include another 13,000 homes across the area.

For more information on the new service, or on your collections days, please log onto www.dover.gov.uk or call customer services on (01304) 872428.
