Police investigating a robbery have released an E-fit of a man they would like to trace.

The Efit released by Police

On Monday 22 September at 2.35 pm a 17-year-old man was with a friend at the Cricket Pavilion behind Morrisons store in Folkestone.

A man asked if he could borrow his phone and became threatening when the victim refused. The offender then used force to take the phone out of the victim's hands and left with the phone in the direction of Radnor Park.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his early twenties, of medium build, about 6ft tall, with short dark brown hair. He had 'wonky' teeth, spots on his face and walked with a limp. He was wearing a white hooded top, light jeans and black trainers.

When he spoke he swore a lot and said the word "init" a lot.

Anyone who can identify the offender, or has any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Darren Manktelow on 01303 850055.

Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

If you live in this area of Folkestone and have any concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour contact PCSO Vanessa Baber 07772 226020
