Rubbish should be cleared from outside Canterbury Road businesses

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Living on the main road, I often find bottles, cans and the like thrown on the grass verge outside my house.

Like my neighbours, I give a little curse to those who have used the street as a dustbin, and put the articles in my bin.

Not so, it seems, the shopkeepers in the village. All sorts of receptacles are dumped on the ground and in the flowerbeds, yet does anyone come out and clear their frontage? It doesn't seem so.

These are the businesses that fretted about the by-pass, and talked of rejuvenating the village.

The frontage of one shop is like an unmade road.

John
