In a second wave of raids targeting dealers of Class A drugs in Kent a number of people were arrested in Folkestone, Dover, Canterbury and London yesterday (6 September).

Heroin, cocaine and cannabis, along with stolen property, were seized in the raids on 24 addresses by 150 police officers.

Police raided a number of properties in Dover on Tuesday, which led to drug seizures and 20 arrests.

Ten men and five women have been charged with a total of 133 offences.

The latest raids were led from a control room at Folkestone police station.

Ch Supt Steve Harris said: "We are responding to the concerns raised by local people and would hope this week's raids and arrests have made a significant impact on the supply of drugs."
