Around 150 police officers took part in dawn raids at a number of addresses in Dover, and sniffer dogs were taken to the town's railway station.

It was reported that seventeen people were arrested in the operation to stop dealers selling Class A drugs.

Officers said a number of drugs and associated items, plus other stolen items, were recovered from several properties raided on Tuesday morning (4 September).

Police said it followed information received during close community work between officers and residents.
