The Tesco superstore in Cheriton is set to almost double in size if plans to extend the store go ahead.

Retail giant Tesco, will be launching an exhibition of the proposals in the store next month.

Expansion plans would see an increase of the current floor area from around 6,000 sq. metres to over 10,000 sq. metres and the 400 car parking spaces increased to nearly 650.

Residents living nearby will be invited to preview the exhibition at Cheriton Primary School on the evening of 26th September.
