Well heeled after boot fair

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

The 1890 Leas Lift Carriage project certainly did not get the boot from Radnor Park on Sunday (9 September).

On the contrary, our old boots found a route off, with the loot, totalling £168.00, now resting safely at HSBC Bank account number 21433784, sort code 40-21-15.

To all the public who contributed, one way or another on that day, thank you all for such a sum.

We are privileged to have the Hawkinge Gazette air the views of the 1890 Leas Lift Carriage fund raising events so frequently. Again, thank you!

These people certainly are dedicated to refurbishing the town's old carriage!
