Plans for the Dover Priory area and the station approach will be on show at a public exhibition in the foyer of the Dover Discovery Centre.

The exhibition will be on display from 10am-4pm on 1, 3 and 4 September.

Proposals include works to the Station Forecourt, Priory Steps, Station Approach Road and Folkestone Road. The works are planned to make the station and the surrounding area more attractive, safe and practical to use. Members of the project team will be at the exhibition to answer questions.

Cllr Nigel Collor, DDC Cabinet Member for Access, said: “These are exciting times for the district and we are very pleased to see proposals for further improvements to Dover Priory taking shape. This is a great example of partnership working and keeps Priory Station firmly on track for the arrival of the high speed rail link in 2009.”
