A 54-year-old woman missing from her home in Folkestone since Tuesday has been found safe.

Penelope Gibbs, who is on medication for depression was spotted by a family member in the town this afternoon (2 August).

Kent Police had said officers were "gravely concerned" for her welfare.

In an appeal to Ms Gibbs, her partner, William Wagland, had said: "Don't worry - just come home."

And her daughter, Samantha Wagland 11, who often acts as her mother's carer, said: "I can't eat, I can't sleep. I wake up in the night. I don't know what to do."
