A magnificent tableau of decorated floats on the Royal Military Canal will again be the highlight of the Hythe Venetian Fete.

Thousands of people are expected to watch the ever popular event from the banks of the picturesque canal on Wednesday (15 August ).

There will be two processions with scores of floats; the first starting at 7.00pm , and then again after dark when they are illuminated.

At dusk between the two parades people can enjoy the grand firework display.

Gates open at 4:00pm and the programme begins at 5.00pm.
