One for all, all for one

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

I am moved to write to you after seeing a photo in a local newspaper of three parish councillors, Heasman, Punnett, Smith posing as `The Three Musketeers of Hawkinge` complaining that they had not been invited to the opening of the road which completed the by-pass.

Well in the case of one, namely Cllr.`Porthos` Smith, I was literally `gob-smacked`.

I can remember that 5 years ago, Cllr. Smith along with others was actively campaigning to stop this road from being built.

So why should he invited to the opening `jolly`?

He wanted nothing to do with it at that time.
