Landslide victory for Conservatives in Shepway

The Conservatives have taken control of Shepway District Council after a landslide victory with 34 tories winning their seats

In North Downs East, the Conservative candidates scored a massive victory polling more than double their closest rivals.

David Callahan, who switched to the Shepway Independents and Peter and Christena Smith who sat on the previous council all lost their seats.

The results for North Downs East are:-
