Access to popular footpath blocked by council

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Suddenly in mid April, The very popular footpath leading from Swann Way to Killing Wood was blocked to public access with a new fence and "Keep out No Public Access" signs put there by Shepway District Council (SDC).

This leaves an enclosed area extending half way to Killing Wood. I would recommend a visit to see what is going on.

If you do not like what you see I suggest telling the planning department at SDC what you think.

The cost must have been quite high for what amounts to destroying a good amenity for many people.

Peter
