Clothing collection may not be for the poor

Neighbourhood Watch

Police are warning householders that garments given to clothing collection companies may not benefit the poor.

Three different fly-dropped leaflets from companies who state that they are clothing collection companies have been delivered recently.

One according to local police states that it is a Third World Clothing Collection Company.

Police say, the companies which are all legitimate and registered with Companies House, are not collecting for charity but to re-sell and make money out of your generosity with nothing going to help the needy.

The local charity shop would be appreciative of your help and that certainly will go to a needy cause.
