On Monday 26th February, John Wigmore FRPS AFIAP MPAGB APAGB judged this 4th digital image competition of the season. John is a Premier Judge and a very experienced photographer as you can see by the letters after his name.

He is regarded very highly by our members and indeed by the whole of Kents’ Clubs. It was a very interesting evening, our members learning a lot from his tips, advice and experience on how we could improve our photography. Judge Richard Walton FRPS, AFIAP MPAGB, BPE3* had a difficult task with 66 prints to judge in one evening. Dartford won the Trophy with 109 points, and Folkestone came joint 3rd with 101 points, which is a great achievement for us. Also a Special Award was given to Ian Stone CPAGB for the best overall print ‘Little Bee Eater’ who is also a member of our Club! The Clubs taking part including ourselves, were, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Staplehurst, Gravesend, Malling, Reflex, Invicta, Parkwood and Tovil.
