Neighbourhood Watch are warning residents of bogus callers in the area.

Please be aware of bogus callers that are seeking to enter your homes, in order to check on your gas, water, electric supplies or even wanting to check if you have any more specific items of property in your homes.

If you do not have a pre arranged appointment, please do not let anyone in. 

Ask for and check the identity of any caller, and please ensure that you insist they wait outside whilst you do so. 

If in any doubt call the police immediately.

Callers selling goods door to door should be in possession of a current Pedlars Certificate, a badge hanging around the callers neck or pinned to a top coat is NOT a pedlars certificate. Again please do not under any circumstances allow any caller in.
