Toilets still closed?

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

We are told that since the Lib-Dems lost their foothold on power at Shepway nearly three years ago to the Con/People First Coalition, the public toilets were supposed to be re-opened.

Not so.

Here we were driving through the lovely cinque port of Hythe when my 70year old friend announces that he has an urgent predicament.

`Go around to the council offices at Hythe,' he says with an impassioned plea.

Imagine our horror to find both male and female facilities firmly locked.

Not to worry though, a good samaritan in the shape of the town clerk came to his rescue by allowing him to utilize those frequented by the great and the good of the borough.
