The farmers' market at Capel Le Ferne is celebrating its 4th anniversary with a special Easter market on 3 April.

There will be baby animals on show, Folkestone Pipes and Drums playing in the car park/village green and an Easter bonnet competition for children.

Stallholders sand organisers will be joining in the festivities by wearing Easter bonnets

If the weather is fine, it is hoped to hold an Easter egg hunt outside; or failing that a small competition for the children in the small hall.

Organiser Jenny Barraclough said: "It doesn’t seem possible we are celebrating our 4th Anniversary and we thank everyone, stallholders, customers and helpers for your support in making our market so successful, and friendly, and long may it continue.

"The Market is held every Tuesday at Capel-le-Ferne Village Hall, Lancaster Avenue from 10.00 am. to 1.00 pm. with an average of 20 stalls every week providing local produce including:- vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, eggs, bread, cakes, cheese, delicatessen, preserves, speciality olives, soups and sauces, chocolates and fudge, crafts, plants etc. We also provide refreshments and an on-site Post Office.
