Telecom Mast appeal for Killing Woods

Have your say!

Dear Editor

Through a good response from the public and the council, the application (Y06/1391/SH) to build a telecom mast in the Killing Woods field has been refused.

Unfortunately T-Mobile have now gone to appeal and with changes in way appeals for masts are considered the odds are now stacked massively against the people of Hawkinge.

This mast, which an be viewed on Shepway planning applications website under the above number,  is 2-3 metres higher than the mature trees. Including the antennas , it is sited very close to houses and a children's play area.

The only hope is for as many people as possible to write (3 copies have to be sent) with their objections to:

The Planning Inspectorate, 3/15 Eagle Wing, Temple Quay House, Bristol BS1 6PN, quoting ref APP/L2250/A/07/2037636/NWF by the 13 April 2007

To stop this eyesore, help the families that will be blighted by this and protect this unspoilt Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of Hawkinge, please write with your objections.

Yours

cc1
