A police hunt is underway after a man robbed a holiday park at gunpoint yesterday (26 October) .

The robber threatened two members of staff at the Camber Sands Leisure Park in New Lydd Road, Camber, with a handgun before escaping with cash from a safe.

Sussex Police said the man entered the entertainments complex of the Leisure Park shortly before 10.30am yesterday and demanded money from the safe before restraining the staff to prevent them raising the alarm. He then made off through the site. No-one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 quoting Operation Templar or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
