Why did they have to resign?

Have your say!

Dear Editor

Re: Council resignations

I am puzzled why councillors felt it necessary to resign.

Since Mr. Smith could not do the 'decent thing' in his position, surely it was possible for a member of the council to propose a motion which required his resignation from the Finance Committee.

This could then have been debated and eventually voted upon.

So can someone please explain to me why this was not done?

Yours in bewilderment

Hawk
