Body discovered wedged between rocks

The body of a middle-aged man was found on Folkestone seafront just under the Leas Cliff Hall this morning (6 January).

Police said the body which was wedged between rocks was discovered by a member of the public 

It was reported that a mechanical digger had to be used to remove rocks to retrieve the body. 

A police spokesman said the death was not currently being treated as suspicious. The identity of the man is not yet known.
