Not as it seems

Have your say!

Things are not always quite how they appear.

Take the case of our dear friend Lazarus. According to his latest missive he writes of the community warden parking in a bus stop.

The warden Tanya Clark has quickly contacted the Gazette to explain the incident of parking at the Canterbury Road bus stop was not correct.

Tanya informed me that she was being dropped off at work by another community warden. The vehicle in which she was travelling stopped to let her out, but it was in fact beyond the bus stop.

I'm sure they both think they are correct but as Lazarus says in the last line -'I leave it to you to decide'.

I think when dealing with any form of bureaucracy, even at the lowest end of the food chain ie: traffic wardens up to and including, police, council workers, call-center staff, double glazing salesmen, insurance companies, banks, stock brokers, etc, parish councillors, pollsters, MP'S, Presidents, Lords and of course all Ministers, and at no.1 Tony Blair never give them the benefit of the doubt, and only assume they are lying if their lips move!

Since when have double glazing salesmen been considered as bureaucrats? We need to know! And I can't understand call centre staff being lumped into that category either.

Of course double glazing salesmen arn't bureaucracy, but we've all heard the horror stories,on House of Horrors, as for Call centers, staffed overseas, my dealings with them have been very negative, and i have been promised as indeed folks i know have also been promised the earth, as we are much valued customers etc etc...an wait for ages only get the wrong parts late appointments or missed appointments, so i can but apologise, i was just lumping them in with folks that are sometimes liberal with the truth, and I'm sure you can all think of lots more of your own, but i couldn't be asked to include any more
