I state at the outset, that I am not trying to oust out Ralph Mouth. However, I thought readers might be interested in a small local titbit.

I don't know if you and other readers can remember a little while ago when the brave new world of the control of illegal parking was going to start in Hawkinge? 

Among areas that we were promised would receive particular attention was parking in the bus stop. Well, guess who was spotted getting out of a car which was parked in the Canterbury Road bus stop (south side of the road) on Friday?

Non other than Tanya, our local Community Warden!

Was Lazarus correct to be cynical about the "new order"?
