This is an update of new issues in the last couple of weeks.

Graffiti:-  The Community Centre has had four separate incidents of graffiti over the last week. Two lots in the male toilets and two outside on the fire doors off Heron Forstal Ave, all has been removed to date. The same tag has also been found on the play equipment in the Uphill play area. At present I am working with various partners to combat this and identify the 'artist'. Any information regarding this issue, if anyone has seen this happening or any other graffiti please contact me.

Walking Bus:- There will be a meeting at the Churchill School on Thursday 5 October  at 2.15pm  in the school hall. I hope there will be a good amount of interest and turn out at this meeting, the Walking Bus co-ordinator will be speaking about the scheme and incentives that come with it, also to highlight the effects a bus can have on general health and safety of you and your child. All support would be appreciated, so put the date in your diary. 

Crime:- The trees in Page Road have yet again started to be vandalised over the last week, especially during the evenings and weekends. Any information would be of great interest and help to me to identify the offenders.

There have been a few day time burglaries and attempted burglaries in neighbouring villages over the past week. Please ensure all your doors, windows and side gates are securely locked when you leave your property.
