Hawkinge hit by burglaries

HAWKINGE HIT BY BURGLARIES

Neighbourhood Watch have reported a burglary in Old Rectory Close, Hawkinge on Friday (15 September) between 10.00am and 2.00pm. The rear door was forced to gain entry and audio and photographic equipment along with cash and documents were stolen. A Lexus IS 200 sport was also stolen.


Police would like to speak with a white male, approximately 5' 9" and wearing a red beanie hat with a blue stripe and a dark blue tracksuit type top with dark blue jeans. Anyone with information should contact PC Moody on 07980 770583.

Jewellery was stolen from a property in Coombewood Lane on Friday (15 September) between noon and 12.45pm.  The rear window frame was forced to gain entry. Again if you saw anything suspicious in this area please call PC Moody

Overnight (17/18 September) approximately seven Birch and Rowan trees have been damaged in Page Road, Hawkinge.
