HARRY EARNS HIS KEEP...

Dear Ed,

Our local Giant "Hawkinge Harry" is going out to Herne Bay o­n 19th August and Folkestone Carnival o­n 20th.  The organisers of these events, as did those of the Charivari Carnival,  kindly agreed to make a donation to the Hawkinge Community Events Group. 

These donations will help to put o­n events like the Hawkinge Fun Day o­n 16th September which we can all enjoy with our families . 

Harry is doing a good job for Hawkinge but we could still do with a couple more helpers o­n 19th/20th. Wheeling Harry around is not strenuous and the Carnivals are good fun. He o­nly needs a couple of hours of your time so please readers can you help out o­n 19th and 20th August?
