Hawkinge milkman attacked

HAWKINGE MILKMAN ATTACKED... 

Police are appealing for information after a milkman was assaulted in Hawkinge. The milkman was making deliveries in Millfield Close, Hawkinge at 3.35 am on Wednesday morning (26 July). 

When he returned to his milk float in Kettle Drive, he saw a man on the float, and was then struck from behind, which caused him to fall to the ground unconscious. 

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious, or knows who did this.
